FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

June 14, 2007

The CEP members at NPG Envelope in Winnipeg today approved a new three-year collective agreement that increases the average pay by 21 per cent over the life of the contract.

The 45 employees, represented by CEP Local 830, will receive basic wage increases of 3 ½ %, 2 ½ % and 2 ½ % in the three year agreement, which expires in October 2009. Additionally, new wage grids with new progressions give hourly increases of about $0.65 per hour every six months for many of the employees.

The new deal also strengthens the seniority clause for full-time employees and ensures overtime is distributed according to seniority. Members ratified the agreement in a vote held today.

NPG Envelope is Canada's largest independent manufacturer and printer of envelopes. The Company produces more than 1.5 billion custom envelopes a year to leading North American organizations from its plants in Winnipeg and Hamilton, Ont.

CEP Local 830 represents about 900 workers in specialty packaging and office supplies at several Winnipeg employers, including NPG.  CEP represents 150,000 working people coast to coast in energy, paper, telecommunications, commercial print, graphics and media.
