Update Bulletin:

The CEP Western Region Women’s Committee has been planning hard for the May 2010 Western Region Women’s conference The conference is in Vancouver at the Coast Plaza Hotel from Sunday May 2nd to Wednesday May 5th. The theme of the conference is “We’ve Come a Long Way Sisters – or Have We?”

The CEP Western Region Women’s Committee was formed in June 2008, and since that time meets and plans through a series of conference calls. During our first three conference calls the committee developed their “Terms of Reference”, “Western Region Union Women Poster” and a “Privacy Policy”.  All three topics can be located on the CEP Western Region Web Page:

We invite all CEP Union sisters to visit the above web site and we strongly encourage you to pass this news bulletin on to all your CEP Western Region Union sisters as we develop our contact data base. This data base will be used when we have information to send out to all sisters.  Our contact information is on the Poster at the CEP Western Region Web site.

For this year’s conference we ask that if anyone has any historical articles or items pertaining to women, or information on depictions of women in the media, or anything of that nature, please contact one of the Western Region Women’s committee members.
